Tecnowind was founded in Fabriano, Italy in 1983.
Its first steps were in the air extraction and purification field, and since the beginning the new company was recognized as highly professional and dedicated to customer needs.
In the last fifteen years Tecnowind has increased its sales turnover from 6,0 million Euros in 1993 to 84,0 million Euros in 2008.
Major company milestones were the following:
In 1997 acquisition of Elcolux, as a consequence Tecnowind moved its first steps in the market of ceramic and induction hobs and became the first European OEM manufacturer in this field.
In 1999 start-up of LamTec, the new metal working plant which guarantees high accuracy and quality.
In 2006 start-up of Lux Home Electrical Appliances, the Chinese affiliate in Huzhou, which produces high quality but economically priced hoods.
In 2008 start-up of Tecnowind East Europe, the Romanian affiliate in Arad, which produces basic design hoods.
In 2009 launch of the Uniqa brand for hoods which positions Tecnowind as one of the highest image and design producers in the world.
Today Tecnowind is a leading company which produces hoods and hobs having high reliability and technologically advanced, and which is able to compete with all major world producers on design and quality. |   |
